Jon was Project Director at Architype for this new office building for Hexagon HA in Sydenham, South London. It is equipped with a ‘Thermodeck’ environmental system which passes warm air through ducts within pre-cast concrete floor slabs.
The air can be cooled in summer to provide passive air conditioning.
The system provides a very comfortable environment and is economical to run.
